Our Summer Entryway

This weekend has been crazy fast! As in I woke up this morning thinking it had to be Sunday, right?! I fully admit that I am (very) late to get our entryway decorated for Summer, but nothing motivates me like company coming over for a 4th of July picnic ;)!

A few weeks ago Magnolia Market was having a huge sale and I grabbed a few items that I knew would be perfect for this space. I love how these items can be incorporated all year long but also feel extremely summery when all grouped together. I can think of a 102 uses for these watering cans just off the top of my head ;). This was so easy to put together, and I love the final result.

My inspiration for this space was a summer morning spent at the local farmer’s market. My goal was for the space to look fresh, collected, and gathered. We hung this Gather sign a few months ago and I think it works well here for Summer as well. It gives the entry a relaxed take your shoes off vibe. We moved this little chest from our formal living room to this spot in the entry for Summer. I just love it here with these new and old watering pitchers with fresh summer flowers.

Next up was hanging this adorable “Fresh Flower Market” sign. I have been eyeing it for months and when I saw it go on sale I just knew we needed it. Simply adding twine to the back of the sign allowed me to hang it from the hook. This tote bag is even more versatile than I realized. It could be used for so many things but for now I am loving it here with fresh flowers and these old spindles. I wanted to really play up the different tones of the white beadboard and white tote bag against the dark hooks, galvanized metals, and black signs. I love the simplicity of this space for Summer!

This is the view from the steps coming down into our entryway. I just love waking up and walking downstairs to this little corner of Summer goodness on my way to the kitchen for coffee. Wishing you a very Happy 4th of July! As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

      Hi Kelly,
Of course, it is Sherwin Williams Sandbar, and the beadboard is Sherwin Williams Alabaster. I should have included that, sorry! Thanks so much for stopping by!
